Group Health Workshops

I run various health workshops throughout the year; often collaborating with other health and wellness professionals to create a more complete experience. These sessions give me the opportunity to  educate individuals about important health topics, and empower them to take action.

I’ve also found that creating these spaces for participants to share and discuss their experiences with others contributes to a feeling of collaboration and often connects like-minded individuals.      

Workshops generally last 2-3 hours and topics include:

  • Stress-management morning that incorporates a yoga session, breathing exercises and nutritional guidance to help you support your stress response. You also receive a week-long menu plan for stress management.
  • Blood-sugar regulation session to explain the importance of maintaining regulated blood sugar levels. I provide you with dietary adapatations and tips to help you avoid a blood sugar imbalance. The session includes a cooking demonstration and you receive a week-long menu plan for blood sugar regulation.  
  •  Weight management for women over 40. As we age, changes to our hormones and body composition mean that the most effective ways to maintain a healthy weight have evolved from what they were before. In this session I go through how these physical changes affect your nutritional requirements, and what dietary and lifestyle habits are most important for weight management at this stage in your life.
